Blog: Creating and editing a Form (Survey/Homework)

Creating and editing a Form (Survey/Homework)

This is section 6 from ‘The Complete Guide to Google Drive.’

A pdf can be downloaded here – Section 6 pdf

This is perhaps my favourite part of Google Drive. You can create a ‘Form’ or as I like to call it, a survey or a homework, that students or colleagues can complete.

The Form can contain a wide range of styles of questions and also can include pictures or even videos embedded within it.

I use Google Forms with every Flipped Lesson to allow me to see when students have watched the video and they also answer a few questions to allow me to check their understanding.

Google Drive has it’s own spreadsheet software, appropriately called “Spreadsheet.”

Like Document, a fantastic benefit of Spreadsheet is that the user can create and edit high quality spreadsheets on any machine without needing any software installed. There is also no need for memory sticks as the files are automatically saved and can be accessed anywhere.
